Matthew 24:37-38 (NASB) “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
Upheaval, chaos, and unrest are everywhere. Almost the entire southwest is in some stage of drought. Agriculture production has been destroyed while lakes and streams are rapidly drying up. Yet, commerce expands and metro areas are drawing in larger and larger populations. Entertainment centers and sporting events thrive, while ghettos swelter in despair.
People travel and search for gratification continuously, but it doesn’t give them a lasting hope.
Just like in the days of Noah most people are living their lives unaware of the fact they’re “missing the ark”. They see the chaos and upheaval in the world, but it doesn’t cause them to change–to reach out to a God who can save them from the coming disaster. Jesus Christ is calling out to you.
