2 Peter 1:4 “He has granted us His precious and magnificent promises.”
Every year as we celebrate Christmas, we are reminded that God keeps His promises. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
As the spring flowers bloom, the excitement of the promised resurrection lifts us from the shadows of winter and brings the anticipation of a new beginning. The regenerated life fills our hearts with the joy of fulfilled dreams and hopes only His promises could bring.
The promise of the resurrection of our loved ones and a new beginning from our fallen lives is revealed with every passing day. I Corinthians 6:14 (NIV) By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. I Corinthians 15:52 …in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
Acts 24:15 …having a hope in God, which these men cherish themselves, that there shall certainly be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
God keeps His promises.
