So majestic your rising a beacon to many.

Your fame reached across the waters.

Towering above the city a target more than any.

Still, you kept your vigil.


Your claim to fame a height all could see.

Souls were held as your captives.

They linger yet, though you can’t be.

You were stolen by a thief.


The dust now settled but hearts not healed.

How long will it take to deliver?

The memory lingers and long is sealed.

A nation in mourning its anger revealed.
