Roy’s Blog: “Shelter in Place”

The Lord is “a refuge and a shelter from the storm and rain.” Isaiah 4:6 ESV

When the storm is approaching, authorities call for the people to evacuate the affected area. If they don’t or can’t get out in time, they are told to shelter in place.

Until God takes us home, one way or another, we have no choice but to shelter in place.

As we search through scriptures they unfold a glorious future for all believers, but a storm is brewing. Studying the prophetic plan of God, we see the coming storm that ushers in the Kingdom of our Lord.

For non-believers, there is no shelter for the storm just over the horizon.

Thank the Lord, there is a shelter–readily available–to each and every person alive today. The Lord is our refuge, our shelter, from the storm.

Seek Him while He may be found. Isaiah 55:6
