Luke 18:1b “Men ought always to pray and never give up.”
In life, you’re always doing one or the other. Either you are praying or giving up. If you’re discouraged and you don’t like the way things are going–pray. Don’t stop.
James 5:16 “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
Prayer re-focuses your attention from the problem to God who has the answers to all your problems.
Prayer clarifies the request. Many times we are too vague. We don’t know what our real problem is. As we pray, we get down to the real reason we are fearful, unhappy, unsatisfied. Then we can pray with a specific target in mind.
Prayer doesn’t just change things and situations, it changes you.
There is no mountain too big that God can’t move it.
How long do I keep on praying?
I Thessalonians 5:17 “Never stop praying.”
