Roy’s Blog: “Do Not Grumble”

Psalm 107:1 (NIV) “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”

Jesus says. “Do not grumble.” (John 6:43)

Have you ever been around someone who grumbles all the time, over everything. They grumble about someone cutting them off on the highway or stealing their parking spot. They’re kind of hard to be around aren’t they?

Saints fans grumble about the missed call in the playoff game. Millions are grumbling about the weather in the Midwest and Northeast. Major cities have come to a standstill and newscasters are going into warp drive over the weather.

And, of course, we grumble about every trial and struggle of daily life. I admit. I grumble at times over even the small things. But I’m glad the Lord loves me in spite of my imperfections.

As Paul said…from prison…”Give thanks to the Lord always.”
