Isaiah 43:2b “When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
We face many difficulties and sometimes it’s just hard to get a handle on them. Your baby is sick. You go to the doctor, and between the doctor visit and the medicine, you need a miracle to pay the bill. Or, you’re just driving along in the middle of nowhere and your car quits. There is no way you are going to be able to get any help. You need a miracle.
Then, there are times you get that call. Your heart breaks over the news, but there is nothing you can do. You need a miracle.
In Daniel 3:19-27, Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered the furnace to be stoked to seven times hotter than normal. The three men’s hands were bound, and they were thrown into the fire. As they walked through the flames, Nebuchadnezzar saw a fourth man walking with them.
Nebuchadnezzar was astonished when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego walked out of the flames and didn’t even have the smell of smoke on them.
The Lord has the ability to protect and keep those who put their trust in Him. The miraculous interventions we seek from our trials can only come through the Lord.
