Proverbs 31:30 “Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”
I used to love to skip rocks on a pond or lake and watch the ripple effect on the water. If I could just find the right rock, I could get it to skip six or seven times. The ripples would sometimes run together.
Like skipping rocks the ripple effect of a mom goes way beyond her immediate actions. She leaves a legacy. It continues through her children to her grandchildren and even great-grandchildren, shaping lives for generations.
Watching our children and grandchildren, I have been able to see as they have made commitments in their faith, lifestyle, and priorities caused by the ripple effect of their mom.
Your life is important. Don’t miss out on the chance to leave a ripple effect for life. Even if you were unable to have children of your own, there are kids all around. You can be an example to them by the way you live your life.
