Hebrews 10:23-25 “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encourage one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
Hebrews gives us a picture of how to live our lives, especially those who live in the end times.
Two years ago, 41% of Americans said they could “see the day approaching.” So why aren’t the 41% holding fast the confession of their hope without wavering? Why aren’t we stirring up love and good works in one another? Why do so many forsake the assembling together of those with like faith?
Why? Spiritual deception that sweeps through churches and says transformed lives are not necessary, that a new life in Christ can be the old life with a sprinkle of new mixed in. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”
The Bible says we are called to be different. The old nature is put off for a new nature in Christ.
