Roy’s Blog: “God’s Amazing Creation”

Psalm 92:5 “O Lord, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.”

Volcanic eruption in Russia causes a purple sunrise in Colorado. How? Raikake, located on the Kuril Islands off Russia’s eastern coast, erupted in June, sending a thick plume of ash and volcanic gases into the atmosphere and the circulation of a storm over the North Pacific. Researchers said, “This was a relatively small eruption, but it was enough to impact most of the northern hemisphere.” It has produced beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Friday night’s full moon is the Harvest Moon, considered one of the most popular moons of the year. For some it is a sign of bad luck, for others it is a sign of good luck. Regardless of your superstitions, the Harvest moon casts a beautiful glow over the earth. This will be the last full moon on the same day as Friday the 13th for nearly thirty years.

I’m just so thankful the Lord allowed me to be a part of His amazing, beautiful creation.

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a single stone across the waters and create many ripples.”
