Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
When you got up this morning and looked into the mirror, did you sing, “Oh, what a beautiful morning?” Or did you sing, “Make the world go away?” When you turned on the light switch, did you hurry and turn it back off?
When you stepped on the scales, did they say, “Back off you’re killing me?”
It’s enough to give you the blues. And you haven’t even left the house yet. The kids aren’t even up.
The Bible says a lot about the “blues”. Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee.”
Colossians 3:15 “And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”
We have a choice of either focusing on our problems or focusing on our trust in God. He holds the solution!
