Matthew 24:32 “The fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near.”
Israel’s rebirth as a nation happened in our generation on May 14, 1948, fulfilling Biblical prophesy made over 2500 years ago.
On the Mount of Olives, Jesus gave us the Olivet Discourse explaining the signs that would precede His second coming. In Matthew 24, Jesus gives us a sign so the “final generation” can be known. We’ve seen the sign. We are that last generation. His return is very near.
He says, “When you see the fig tree (Israel) reborn as a nation, that generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” (Matthew 24:34) The “fig tree generation” began May 14, 1948 and it’s been 71 years since that occurred. Simply put–Jesus is at the door.
Jesus said, “Behold I stand at the door and knock…” (Revelation 3:20)
Revelation 3:22 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”
