John 14:3 “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”
The big question is, “When?”
The most often given answer is Mark 13:32, “But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”
Yet, the Bible also says, “Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together…And all the more as you see the day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:5) What day drawing near? The rapture of the Church (the body of believers).
Christians are commanded to “know” that the Lord’s return is near. The scripture tells us that Noah “knew the day was drawing near.” Matthew 24:37 says, “As the days of Noah were so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.”
The last promise in scripture, Jesus said, “Surely, I come quickly.” And the last prayer of John, “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20
