Ephesians 5:8-9 “For though your hearts were once full of darkness, now you are full of light from the Lord, and your behavior should show it! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.”
All of us have at one time or another groped around in the dark to find a light switch. As you carefully stepped you were fearful of what might be in your path (Lincoln logs, tinker toys, or some other unseen danger).
You remember how it was. You thought you would never get where you were going. That small room suddenly became a giant cavern with nothing but obstacles in between you and the light switch.
But, what happened when you turned on the light? Suddenly your fears were erased, your heart calmed, you got your bearings and could make your way through safely.
The same is true in our journey on earth. As we walk every day, don’t walk in darkness fearing the dangers lurking. Walk in the light.
Jesus said in John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
