Psalm 27:1 (KJV) “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
No matter who we are or what we have attained, sometimes the light goes out in our lives. We feel alone and in the dark with our pain. How do we find our way back to the light? How do we take that step when we can’t see?
The answer is different for each person. But, from the truth of God’s word, I know the light is always there. If you open your Bible with an open heart, and search for answers, a glimmer of light will begin to point you back to the “Light of the World”.
God wants to be near us in our darkest hours. He is right beside us in our struggles. He is our fortress and stronghold in the sea of confusion we see around us. He will light your path.
There is no place we can go that we are truly alone. He is there bringing us His light and love. Accept it; bask in His light and glory.
John 8:12 Jesus said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
