I John 5:4 “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’ve been slung around and around by my toenails the last few weeks. This last year, especially the last quarter, has been hard to handle. So far this year isn’t shaping up any better.
A runaway rollercoaster is the best comparison I can think of. You feel helpless and hopeless. You have no control, and those that are supposed to aren’t doing their jobs! As for me, I’m so thankful I have a God who is in control, and I can have hope.
I know many wonder how long, how much more wickedness God is going to tolerate before He says it’s time. It will be in God’s perfect timing, but I believe He is getting ready to call us out of here at any minute. I’m ready!
With all our fancy technology and our all our medicines, we could never have imagined a virus could cripple our world the way it has. In America, who would have dreamed we would go from a country of freedom to one of tyranny and harsh control so quickly. (Hint: it didn’t happen quickly). It’s been building for many years, but we’ve ignored the symptoms.
Some say, “Take me back to the good old days.” But for those who are in Christ, we don’t want the “good” old days. We are looking forward to a victory over the world through our Lord and Savior. A NEW day!
