Psalm 100:4 “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.”
This world is a tough place and life can throw us curve balls. Yet in all things–God is good, all the time. Maybe today you find yourself gripped by some struggle. The outcome of your trial is already known by the Lord. He knows exactly why this pain has struck and its intended purpose. He knows what you (or someone else) need to learn from the situation and that for you there is a pearl of great price to be attained.
Generally, we are a thankless generation. Do you think to thank the people in your life for the things they do for you? Maybe sometimes you do. Do you thank God for putting those people in your life. Do you thank God when someone is driving so slow in front of you and you want to scream at them to move over, only to see a bad wreck up ahead and realize if you’d been even a few seconds earlier that could have been you. God provides for you every day things you may never realize. Thank Him.
When God works a miracle in your life that suddenly solves a struggle you were having, will you be grateful? Or will you say, “Wow, am I lucky!”
In your difficulties, don’t forget to stop and thank the Lord. Don’t be like the masses who take and take then neglect to return to Him a word of thanks.
Psalm 105:1-2 “Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the people. Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him: talk of all His wondrous works.”
Thank you Lord!
