2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Jesus knew all the struggles Paul would go through (2 Corinthians 11:21-33 lists them). But, equally true is that the Lord brought him through each one. The Lord never intended Paul’s life to be nothing but heartache, but victory over the demonic forces in our world. The same is true for you!
Whenever you go through deep waters or fiery trials, your understanding of God’s goodness and mercies moves beyond head knowledge into real life experiences. And, He wants you to use those experiences to help others in their struggles by telling them what God has brought you through.
We all have experienced divine intervention through trials and struggles. Recognize those times. They were not just luck. That crash you missed by seconds you attributed to luck…not luck. That cancer you survived…not just one of the lucky ones.
God intends you to use these trials and struggles to help others and to glorify Him. Just as the raising of Lazarus was not only for the benefit of his family, it was to show God’s glory!
What is your story? You lived it, now tell it to glorify God!
