Roy’s Blog: “Uncharted Waters” in a new tab)

Psalm 91:1-2 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

The world is in crisis unlike anything we have experienced in our lifetime and it’s steadily getting worse. Wild extremes in weather with record breaking temperatures, floods, disease, and volcanic activity…the list goes on and on. Are you surprised? If you read the Bible, you shouldn’t be. It is all outlined within the pages from Genesis to Revelation. It even tells you how to avoid the final outcome. (John 3:16)

Salt and light are so desperately needed in this world lost to sin. Paul wrote long ago, “There will be terrible times in the last days.” Uncharted waters on every side. For many–nowhere to turn for solace. But Paul also offered these eloquent words of encouragement during these trying days, “The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:5b,6-7)
