Roy’s Blog: “Before It’s Too Late” in a new tab)

Luke 12:40 “Be ye therefore ready also; for the Son of Man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”

Many times in my life I have rushed to make it to the store or the bank only to be too late. If I had not left it to the last minute to leave, I would have been there in time, but traffic or other hindrances got in the way. Almost every Saturday at the Post Office, I watch as someone rushes in to get stamps or mail a package only to find the Post Office closed. (It’s open until ten on Saturday). That last few comfy minutes in bed spelled doom for getting to the Post Office on time. Then they get mad because they can’t do what they came for. But, they knew that for years the Post Office closed at ten on Saturday.

I can compare this to the way I see the world today. We can all see things happening from our government to governments in other countries. We can see troubling events even in our local governing bodies even to the local school boards. Rulings against everything we have ever been taught about right and wrong. I cannot imagine when I was going to school having boys being allowed in the girls restroom or changing areas or girls in the boys. Boys didn’t play on girls teams–there wasn’t even a question about it.

This all started many years ago…but, we didn’t nip it in the bud when the idea was first proposed. We waited too long. Now, it’s a problem. Things we could never dream up, we see happening today because we waited too late. This is the way the Bible says it will be before the Rapture of the Church and the Tribulation. Yet many will put off coming to faith in Jesus Christ as Lord…too late.

You will rant and rave, gnash your teeth…but you knew it was coming. Prepare today!
