Joel 3:1-2 “For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and divided up My land.”
Things are happening that will soon bring about huge changes in Israel, specifically Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. Biden is to meet with Jordan’s King Abdullah on Friday. The meeting will center on Middle East issues, dominated by the tensions at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount. It is Jordan’s position that “any measure that violates the status quo in Jerusalem is legally void,” such as Jews being allowed to visit the Temple Mount and pray. Declaring, “The United States has a central role in promoting the peace process.”
Now, I read, that Biden is preparing to visit Israel next month, mulling the option of making a goodwill gesture to the Palestinian Authority by visiting eastern Jerusalem without an official Israeli presence attending. He plans to visit the “old city” of Jerusalem as well as multiple Arab neighborhoods. A direct slap in the face of Isreal’s government, a move that will further divide Jerusalem and a non-recognition of Israel’s sovereignty in that region.
Remember, Biden has promised to open a consulate for Palestinian Authority Arabs in Eastern Jerusalem, a move seen by many as a forerunner to an embassy for the Palestinians. Yes, things are happening, and none of them are good for Israel.
