Roy’s Blog: “Twilight Zone”

Philippians 3:20-21 (NASB) “Our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.”

Are we living in the “Twilight Zone”? It seems so. If you remember the old “Twilight Zone” series on TV, the stories were fictional scenes with hard-to-believe plots that twisted and stretched the imagination.

Life today is something that boggles the mind, that goes beyond what our darkest imaginations could conjure. Today, there is a vast valley between reality and the popular “truth” that hits us in the face on the “wrong stream news” and social media networks. It makes my head spin!

It’s pure evil fiction at its best, but it’s not a TV show depicting make-believe characters in a make-believe world. The lies are portrayed as truth…reality…and multitudes of people are believing the lies. The fog at the beginning of each show in the “Twilight Zone” has reached into the hearts and minds of real people. This is our “Twilight Zone” where good (Godly Christian values) are “bad”, and evil (homosexuality, trans-gender, abortion, the occult) are considered “good and acceptable”.

But there is hope! Jesus blows away the fog and frees the mind to see the real truth. His imminent appearance is reason for rejoicing. Those who know the Lord have a glorious and bright future!
