Back in 1994, there was a buzz about something that was going to “change everything” call the “Information Superhighway”. When it was released, the internet did change everything. It ushered in the personal computer age, and the world has never been the same.
I remember the excitement of being able to receive “real-time” messages. It amazed me how I could get a picture of what was going on in the world and it not be hours or even days old.
Now in 2023, there is the same type of buzz about Apple and AI (Artificial Intelligence) and it is going to aline our world with “end-time” prophecy in unimaginable ways. Soon, people will be interfacing with holograms so realistic it will be like you are in the room with the people you are talking to. And…you won’t be able to tell if it is the real person or not. That’s scary.
Computers are being designed in a manner that leads them to be self-aware, self-learning, and able to function independently. They can make decisions based on their information at the time. And that is also scary.
It’s intimidating but it’s also very exciting. Bible prophecy is being played out in our generation and with the increase in knowledge we can understand just how they can happen. Exciting times! Come, Lord Jesus!
