Roy’s Blog: “What Could Go Wrong?”

Psalms 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?”

In Los Angeles, California, officials are trying to stop the spread of the flesh-eating drug xylazine, a veterinary tranquilizer approved in the United States for cows and horses. It is known as the “zombie” drug and is being cut with a cocaine and heroin mix. Like most other illicit drugs it is spreading across the nation. It’s just as you would expect when drugs have been decriminalized. There is no deterrent. What could possibly go wrong?

With unknown numbers and origins of illegals ( many from terrorist nations) flooding the United States, what could go wrong? Fentanyl and fentanyl-laced drugs have flooded in with them; terrorists have escaped detection by not going through proper channels, carrying who knows what kind of weapons; people who live on or near the border (on their own land) have put up with illegal aliens crossing their land littering and destroying as they go. I could go on, but you get the idea.

In that same vein, it has now been reported that a railcar load of ammonium nitrate has come up…missing. It was on the way to California, but never made it. Ammonium nitrate is commonly used as a fertilizer but can be weaponized into a bomb. It was used in the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

Earlier this month, Customs and Border Protection officers intercepted an Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) bound for the United States at the entry point in Douglas, Arizona. These things are happening because they are being allowed to happen. It could be stopped by our government within 24 hours, but they don’t seem to be willing.

With all that is going on, and that could possibly go wrong, how can we have peace of mind? The only way is to fall into the arms of Jesus. Make Him your anchor in life, and say, “The Lord is the defense of my life. Whom shall I dread?” Amen and amen.
