Isaiah 52:10 “The Lord has bared His arm in the sight of all the nations; that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God.”

Today’s problems are showing us our world of tomorrow.

There never has been a time in history when end times prophesy is more aligned with the culture and circumstances of the world than it is today. It’s hard to overlook the prophetic signs playing out all around us every day.

The “falling away” (apathy) of the church is astounding, where 3800 churches close their doors (permanently) every year. Now, only six percent Americans have a “Biblical view” of Christianity. Sixty-two percent of professed “born again” believers do not believe Jesus is the only way to heaven.

It is unmistakable that we have a falling away from what the Word of God teaches. And because of that we have a falling away from the church. It will climax with the Rapture of the body of Christ, the Church, and will lead into a “religious fervor” of the ones who will gladly follow the Antichrist.

The rise of the “New World Order” can’t be mistaken today, with the proclaimed “U.N. 2030 Agenda”. The pandemic and so-called “climate change” have completely transformed our world from a national mindset to an international panic in order to make the changes they need to transform our world. When Biden spoke at a world forum this week, his only agenda was to address the issue of climate change and vaccinations, and to soft pedal our responses to other world issues. No mention of the murdering of Afghan citizens by the Taliban. No mention of slowing China down on their quest to take Taiwan.

The world is in free-fall, but for the “Bride of Christ” it doesn’t have to be a time of fear. For we are safe in the arms of God, even at this moment.

Roy’s Blog: “War Drums” in a new tab)

Matthew 24:5-6a “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars…”

In America, it is hard for the masses to comprehend how loud the war drums are beating in the East. They just see the world through the clouded vision of the mainstream media in the United States. But, situations are opposite in the Middle East from the far East. A “nuclear” Iran is a very scary thought for the rest of the world. With an unstable leader at the helm it could be disastrous. If the experts are right, before the dawn of the new year, Iran will have nuclear capabilities. And everyone who keeps up with the news knows they would be more than happy to use them, even if it destroyed many of their own people as a consequence.

While the world is caught up in their “Green New Deal”, China’s state controlled media openly talks about an invasion of Taiwan and a future military conflict with the United States. They have decided now is the perfect time to take the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. They know America is weak and vulnerable. We won’t defend Taiwan, and we may no longer have the ability to defend ourselves. Our other allies (like Japan) are scared China will come after them next.

Be aware! The drums of the “Kings of the East” are loud today.

Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.”

Roy’s Blog: “Two Words” in a new tab)

2 Corinthians 7:5-6 “We were troubled on every side; outside were conflicts, inside were fears. But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us.”

Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace are ye saved).

There are two words in the Bible that give us the power to hang on…but God.

I Samuel 23:14 “But God was with him [David] and rescued him from all his troubles.”

For Christians, all their problems are temporary; all their blessings are eternal. The exact opposite is true for those without Christ. You may observe some that act like the devil, but it appears they have so many blessings. Don’t be deceived. The blessings they have today are temporary, while their problems are yet to come and they will be eternal.

Life is tough. We need to be reminded often: In Christ, “goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives”, all things work together for good, and we can cast all our cares on Him. He’s coming! Hang on!

When we see those two words “but God” in the Bible, what it’s really saying is, “Look up!” Set your mind on things above and when your troubles come and you say, “I can’t, or my situation is impossible”, remember, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

When Christ’s return is a clear and present awareness in our minds, it will transform the circumstances in our struggles and give us comfort. These times are only temporary and we can get through them if we remember those two words, but God...

Roy’s Blog: “A Form Of Godliness” in a new tab)

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold new things have come.”

Starting out, churches were built to highlight the most important thing in a person’s life–a born-again experience. This is why the building was constructed to showcase that. The baptistry was put front and center in the building.

But, now churches are laid out like a theater to best present the show, or drama, in order to stir the emotions of the audience. It’s no wonder the body of Christ has found herself anemic, without life giving power. The buildings have become showcases with the only real outcome of presenting entertainment. And, as long as it is filled with people, most are satisfied with that. They leave the church “feeling good” but are lost. Nothing struck home as to their lost condition. It’s that “feel good, your okay” sentiment presented by so many church leaders that is allowing many people to die without seeing the need for a life-changing experience.

Jesus said that’s the way it would be at the time of the end, where the masses have a form of Godliness but denying its power. (2 Timothy 3:5) The power comes in “new birth” not in religious entertainment that promises thrills without the life changing power of Jesus Christ.

Roy’s Blog: “The Trumpet’s Call” in a new tab)

Exodus 19:16 “So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.”

It’s hard to imagine how much the children of Israel were filled with fear and amazement as they saw the lightning and heard the deep roar of the thunder that morning. Then trembled as the thick cloud encircled Mt. Sinai and the blast of a trumpet reverberated off the the mountain and through the valley below.

But, as scary as that was, it pales in comparison to what it will be like when the Lord “descends from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel and with the trumpet of God.” (I Thessalonians 4:16)

When the “Bride of Christ” is taken up, away from all fear and darkness into light and joy unspeakable, we can’t imagine how glorious it will be. But, just as He came down on Mt. Sinai with the sound of a mighty trumpet, He will be calling our names after the heavenly pronouncement of a trumpet.

Will your name be one that is called? Or will you stand horrified that you put off too long the call to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior?

“…Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2b)

Roy’s Blog: “The Next Debacle” in a new tab)

Joel 3:2 “I will gather all the nations…I will enter into judgement with them…on behalf of My people…Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and have divided up My land.”

You may have wondered what comes next after the total mess in Afghanistan by the current administration. Well, wait no longer. The Biden administration has set their sights on Jerusalem! Biden is prepared to “fix everything”; even things that aren’t “broke”. Robert Gates, Defense Secretary under Obama, put it like this, “Biden has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue for the last four decades.”

Now he has turned his attention towards “the apple of God’s eye” Israel. He is prepared to reopen the United States special consulate in Jerusalem to the Palestinian Authority as an embassy totally separate from the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. Reopening the consulate to them amounts to a reward for terrorism. And, moves everything back toward a “two-state” solution (which is dividing of the land). He is so bent on undoing anything President Trump accomplished that he would destroy our allies in the process. Discounting the fact that countries all around that area have already been working it out themselves.

You won’t have to wait long for the next debacle to appear. It’s already in the works.

Pray for our country as never before. It is in desperate need of it!

Roy’s Blog: “The End” in a new tab)

Isaiah 46:9-10 “Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.'”

We’ve all watched a movie and many have read books filled with twists and turns. While some characters are always scheming and conniving, others are heroes saving the day. Most of us have watched as evil plots are carried out against the good guys, and we wished for the evil to be exposed. The story captivates us, stirs our imagination, and entices us to wonder how it will end.

Have you ever been tempted to look ahead to the end of a book? Or did someone come along while you are watching a movie and explain how it ends? It probably ruined the rest of the story for you.

While real life can be similar to watching a well-written mystery unfold before your eyes, we don’t have to wait for the next volume of the book or the next movie to come out to know how the story ends. We don’t have to wait until the end of time to know how America and the world fares. God “declares the end from the beginning”. He lets us know how things will end up because He is the orchestrater of it all. We don’t have to worry and fret over things beyond our control. God’s got this!

Does it ruin the story of your life? No. It gives you peace to live your appointed time here on earth with hope for a glorious future. God’s Kingdom is coming, and God’s will is going to be done on earth. It’s a fact. Even though you have struggles and trials during your life’s story, you can know how it ends. For those who love the Lord, it ends with a new beginning.

Roy’s Blog: “Your Generation” in a new tab)

Matthew 24:33,34 “…When you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.”

What is “this generation”? This generation is the one you are living in today. It started in 1948 when Israel became a nation. Maybe you weren’t born until much later, but you are still in this generation. A generation is loosely considered to be eighty years. That would take us to approximately 2028.

All the issues today, from the surrender of national sovereignty, open borders, the pandemic, to the push for a global currency are part of the plan to usher in a “New World Order” by 2030. That’s the goal! It sets the stage for the Antichrist to make his appearance.

Know also that God has a plan for His people–the Rapture and His eternal Kingdom. There is no question what we see happening today is the ushering in of the Tribulation and the “Glorious Appearing of Jesus Christ”. It will happen! And it will be in your lifetime! Your generation.

Roy’s Blog: “The Ultimate Refuge” in a new tab)

Psalm 73:28 “…I have made the Lord God my refuge…”

Today the super rich are investing billions of dollars in schemes to attain some kind of security. They build safe rooms in their mansions. Spend enormous sums designing and building luxury bunkers in the wilderness hoping to “ride out” the coming apocalypse in style and safety.

While others (not so rich) move to wilderness areas where they are isolated from society in order to ride out the storm. Then, there are others who go from moment to moment, living life from one hurdle to the next, not worrying (or preparing) for anything. They don’t want to think about it, so they won’t have to deal with it. Others simply shudder and hide in fear of what might happen.

Yes, you should be prepared for the earthly catastrophes or weather events, but remember to prepare your heart first with the Lord. That is the most important preparation you will ever do.

Praise the Lord! God is our refuge in times of trouble. No matter what. No matter how. No matter when. He is the ultimate refuge when you are in the midst of your pain and struggles.

Roy’s Blog: “Fly Away” in a new tab)

Psalm 90:10 “The days of our life are short, and we soon fly away.”

So many things are pointing to the soon coming of the Lord. I am constantly amazed The Bride of Christ (the Church) is still here. For example: A study was just released as part of the American Worldview that annually studies the worldview of adults in the United States. The study found 62% of people, who identified themselves as Christians, do not believe the Holy Spirit is real.

That means 62% of professed Christians are LOST! And they don’t realize it.

Another example pointing to the soon coming of Jesus: In Iran, they are now training operators from various countries to fly UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) into other countries (including Israel) to drop bombs. These terroristic activities are created and funded by Iran, but conducted from areas such as Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria. This “emissary terrorism” is to help Iran achieve its economic, political, and military goals.

Another example: The waning power and influence of America is opening up the road to war in the Middle East and the rise of the Antichrist and New World Order. New World Order…even in America you have heard these words. First time I remember hearing them was from President George H.W. Bush in 1991.

Our time on earth is short…and then we FLY AWAY! Make this time count for the Lord.
