Roy’s Blog: “No One Left Behind” in a new tab)

Romans 8:18,19 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.”

This is an amazing promise, when Jesus Raptures His church no one will be left behind. It doesn’t matter where you are whether in a hospital, asleep at home, half way around the world in the middle of the deepest part of the jungle, or in a mine in the depths of the earth, you will be “taken up in the twinkling of an eye”. What a wonderful comfort that is!

After reading and listening to reports of good people, many of them Christians, being left behind in Afghanistan with little hope of escaping and facing almost certain death (or worse), you can only be comforted by the Lord’s promise: “I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.” (John 14:3)

I know, with the mess the world is in right now, the Rapture must be near. Too many shadows of things to come are being cast today. We live in the shadow of these events, but during the tribulation period those shadows will be revealed in full.

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

Now is the time! Today is the day of salvation! Don’t put it off! Don’t be left behind!

Roy’s Blog: “Conquerors” in a new tab)

Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things [trials and temptations] we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Many people struggle with, the “I can’t” syndrome. They can’t change from their ways. They “can’t” quit drinking, smoking, using illegal drugs, or looking at pornography. They’ve “tried”, but they always slip back into it. They “can’t” stop cheating on their wives/husbands. They try programs and they appear to work–while you are in them, but ultimately you go back to your old ways. Because your mind may have changed, but your heart hasn’t.

Psalm 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart O God and renew a right spirit within me.” It’s a prayer for cleansing from the inside out.

From the Garden of Eden which saw mankind’s entire future jeopardized to David’s seeing Bathsheba from the rooftop and surrendering to sin, it is a choice. Every one of us are tempted at some point. It’s the choices you make that set the tone of your life. Are you going to “look upon sin” or will you tell the devil to go away and leave you alone?

You can choose to be a conqueror, but it is a choice! In Joshua 24:15, Joshua says, “Choose you this day whom you will serve…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” It was a choice!

I’m thankful the Lord has left us the body of Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit so that we can be “overcomers”, conquerors of the fleshly desires that plague mankind today. If you are plagued by these desires, ask God to “create in you a clean heart and a renewed spirit”.

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Have you ever felt totally alone in the world? Maybe you were new to a big city, had no relatives or friends near. It can be a lonely place. When troubles came, you had no one to turn to.

Quite a few years ago, one of my nieces told me about an experience she had a few years before. While she was leaving the high rise building where she worked, the power went out and she was stuck in an elevator, in the middle of New York City, by herself, for a couple of hours. I asked how she handled it. She said it wasn’t too bad–she had her cell phone, and she knew she was not forgotten by her family. She didn’t feel alone.

Not alone. It is a wonderful thing to feel and know we are “not alone, not forgotten, not abandoned” in the midst of the turmoil and chaos in the world today. God is aware of where we are and how we are. We are not alone or forgotten. The Lord promised us, “…I will never leave you, or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) “The Lord is in your midst…” (Zephaniah 3:17) “Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:39)

Ezekiel 38:11a,12a “Thou shalt say, ‘I will go up to the land of unwalled villages [Israel]…To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the [once] desolate places that are now inhabited…'”

It is often said by those who follow Bible prophecy, “Things are not falling apart; things are falling into place.” Events and countries are lining up exactly the way the Bible says they will at the end of the age.

Remember, with everything we see happening, the goal of the globalists is to have a new world order up and running by 2030 if not sooner. Make no mistake, it is highly likely that Satan’s “man with a plan” (the Antichrist) is already alive at this moment and is preparing to usher in the “New World Order”.

I believe Russia, Iran, Turkey, and other radical groups will now “think an evil thought”. America is weak, useless to our allies. We are preoccupied with Covid, climate change, and “woke culture”. Now is the time to plunder Israel; time to create an Islamic Caliphate. The globalists will use the defeat (by God) of these nations (Gog/Magog) to establish a “New World Order” under the hand of the Antichrist.

By Bible prophecy, this will happen during this generation–the generation who sees the budding of the fig tree (Israel). Our generation. Bible prophecy is coming alive all around you. Be aware of what this means to you. The Rapture of the Church is imminent! Be Ready!

Joe; 3:2 “I will enter into judgement with them…because they have scattered them [the Jews] among the nations and have divided up my land [Israel].”

We live in a collapsing world. From Afghanistan to Europe, to the United States, the world is in freefall. But, the one thing that catches my eye as to how close we are to the day of the Lord is…Israel. Amid the coronavirus resurgence, mounting tensions with Hamas in Gaza, and terrorists along its northern border, an important and highly resonant issue has largely been overlooked: the future of Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital.

The Biden administration has been pushing, both publicly and privately, to open a U.S. consulate in Jerusalem aimed at serving the Palestinians. So what? What’s the big deal?

The act of establishing a Palestinian consulate in Jerusalem means recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. Confirming to the Palestinian world that East Jerusalem is part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The Biden administration has reignited the illusion that they will gain control over Jerusalem. This is going against our long time staunch ally Israel.

Zechariah 12:3 says, “In that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.”

Roy’s Blog: “Going Nowhere” in a new tab)

Matthew 7:14 “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Not long a ago, I was following the road signs and the instructions on my Garmin and was still lost. When my Garmin said “You have arrived at your destination” she was wrong. The store I wanted was nowhere in sight. I tried again…and she was wrong again! It took me to the same place. I was doing everything I thought was right, but I was missing the mark. I stopped and asked someone I thought would know where the store was and that didn’t help either.

I wasn’t far off, but two blocks and one wrong turn was all it took to land me at the Child’s Place playground. Twice. I eventually got to the store I wanted (after asking two more people).

This is how I see so many people living their lives. They follow all the things they hear are supposed to be the right direction, and they watch others going the same way and think, “This must be the way to go.” But they end up in the wrong place. They miss the mark or go around in circles to end up going nowhere.

Everyone want to arrive at the right location, but not all roads lead to where they want to go. Make sure you are on the narrow road that leads to life. All the instructions you need are in God’s word.

Roy’s Blog: “Do What Thou Wilt” in a new tab)

James 1:16 “Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.”

“Do What Thou Wilt” is the unstated overarching theme of progressive politics according to sports journalist Jason Whitlock. And much of what we see is “Satanic”. Saying, “The problem with the left is its desire to redefine every form of sin as a natural desire we should not tame.”

For example, scripture clearly states homosexuality is SIN. But, the left has normalized homosexuality to the point that it’s a widely accepted part of American life. Some have made the claim that, “God made me this way.” A lie straight from Satan’s deceiving lips.

The Bible is clear that sex outside of marriage is a sin, but the left has made promiscuity and fornication just a part of people living their “best lives”. With the assistance of television and movies, unrestrained sex has been shoved at people for many years to the point it’s no longer taboo. “Do whatever you want, however you want” is sold even to our young children. The push to have sex education taught at the preschool level is appalling to many, but parents are allowing it. They are allowing it by being unaware, not fighting against it, or voting in the very ones promoting it.

A segment of our world today is trying to redefine every form of sin as a natural desire. Men who prey on young girls and boys want their deviant desires seen as “natural”. They want sex with children to be legalized, same as how homosexuality has been. Make you sick? It does me.

The “do whatever you want” theme is Satan’s poisoning of the world. They are lies straight from hell! Don’t be deceived!

Roy’s Blog: “Quite A Stir” in a new tab)

Matthew 25:6 (NIV) “At midnight the cry rang out; “Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!”

I just read where Tom Cruise caused “quite a stir” to a family in Warwickshire, England when his helicopter landed in their garden because the nearby Coventry Airport was temporarily shut down, according to BBC News. The family was told their field was needed for an unnamed “VIP who was running late”. To their surprise the “Top Gun: Maverick” star stepped out of the chopper. The woman of the house said, “He (Cruise) basically arrived and got out, and it was like WOW!”

Yes, he’s a well-known star, who puts on a good show. But, can you imagine the reaction of the people of the world when Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, cries out, “Enough!” And begins to call out the names of the redeemed from around the globe. That VIP moment will be like no other in history. The Bride of Christ will rise to meet the Lord and be with Him forever. Not just for a few moment amid camera flashes, but for an eternity.

That will be “quite a stir”. Many others around the world will be astonished. They won’t be ready. They didn’t even realize He was coming! For them it will be everlastingly…too late! Don’t let that moment catch you unaware. Be ready.

VIP: Very Important Person. I can think of no one more important than Jesus Christ in my life.

Roy’s Blog: “Martial Law” in a new tab)

Matthew 24:44 “Therefore be ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh.”

A new survey reports that over 60% of Christians 19-39 years old say Muslims, Hindus, as well as Christians are saved. That is terribly astounding and absolutely wrong! Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6) They may believe they go into “nivana” or something else, but there is only one way to heaven and eternal life and that is through Jesus Christ.

With the dim outlook across the world, time is growing short to get your life right with Jesus.

Martial Law: a system of complete control by a country’s military over all activities, including civilian, in a theoretical or actual war zone, or during a period of emergency caused by a disaster such as an earthquake or flood (or pandemic), with the military commander having dictatorial powers.

I read that the “full approval” by the Federal Drug Administration of the Covid-19 vaccine will allow the roll out of medical martial law to force people to take the vaccine by government and business mandates. In France, the supermarkets have now hired bouncers to prevent the unvaccinated from entering the store to buy food, water, and medical supplies.

Here in America, why has the government been hiring “Interment/Resettlement Specialists” for locations around the country? (Locations already being built). Your life could change in a heartbeat. You may be forced to make a lifechanging decision: Defy the government or accept what’s being forced on you. This is not the mark of the beast, but it sounds very much like the scenario people will face in the end times.

Truth is–you don’t have to face that end-time decision. The Bride of Christ, the Church, will be taken out before that time. Don’t be here to face that decision in the end times. Follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior now and be Rapture Ready!

Roy’s Blog: “Gates Of Hell” in a new tab)

Matthew 16:18 “And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

There is a giant crater in Turkmenistan, one hundred feet deep and two hundred and thirty feet wide. It is in the middle of the Karakum desert and has been burning for over fifty years. It was created when a drilling rig collapsed into a sinkhole and leaked methane, while the prospectors were searching for natural gas.

It is reported that it appears like a volcano out in the middle of the desert at night, burning at over seven hundred degrees. It’s hard to imagine a place with its wicked glow, known in the area as the “gates of hell”, becoming a tourist attraction anywhere much less in the Karakum desert north of Iran.

Maybe this natural disaster is a warning from God for all mankind of the fate that awaits the lost…the ever burning fires of hell. The contrast between heaven and hell is overwhelming. In heaven there is comfort and peace, no pain or fear; a glorious eternity in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Follow Jesus. Today!
